Fuente-Álamo with a population of 2,474, Fuente-Álamo is one of the towns that form part of La Ruta del Vino Jumilla. It is located in the northern area of Campos de Hellín region, close to Almansa. Fuente-Álamo has a strong economy rooted in agriculture, focused particularly on vineyard, almond groves and olive cultivation.

Its Patron Saint Festivities, held in honor of San Dionisio Areopagita, take place from 8 to 12 October. In addition, other notable celebrations include Holy Week, Baile de los Gazpachos on 14 August, La Hoguerita de los Quintos, La Feria de Tradiciones, and La Ruta de la Tapa.
However, the most iconic festivity in Fuente-Álamo is undoubtedly San Marcos. Celebrated on 25 April, the event usually extends over two or three days, during which both locals and visitors gather in “El Cotico” area. There, people spend the day enjoying food, drinks, and the company of friends, family, and peñas (social clubs).

Regarding heritage, San Dionisio Areopagita Parroquial Church is a must visit, built in a Neoclassic style in the 18th Century. Moreover, Las Colleras, a series of geological depressions in limestone strata known locally as “Toriles”, have revealed Neolithic dwellings. And of course, there is Cerro Fortaleza, where archaeological remains from the Neolithic, Celtiberian, and Roman periods have been found.
