Description

Bodega Sierra Norte is nestled among vineyards, mostly old Monastrell vines, the native grape variety of Jumilla. From these vines, we craft balanced, expressive wines, full of texture and fruit, allowing the grape to truly speak for itself.

In our winery, tradition and innovation go hand in hand, combining the best of both worlds to achieve exceptional results. We work with 20 concrete tanks with high micro-oxygenation capacity, alongside the latest technologies, including rotomacerators—horizontal, rotating tanks that enhance maceration of the must with the skins—allowing us to fully extract the grape’s potential.

As part of Ruta del Vino de Jumilla, our winery welcomes visitors for tours of the facilities, where we explain the processes involved in making our wines. All visits include a guided tasting of our DOP Jumilla wines:

  • Equilibrio Joven: a blend of Monastrell and Syrah
  • Equilibrio 4: 100% Monastrell 4 months in oak barrel.
  • Equilibrio 9: made solely from Monastrell with 9 months of ageing.
  • Equilibrio Sauvignon Blanc: our latest creation, six years in the making in the vineyard to achieve the wine we envisioned, widely acclaimed by critics and consumers alike.

We invite you to visit us. A walk through our vineyards and winery offers a unique experience, giving you a true sense of an ancient winemaking culture.
