Organic olive oils

An organic olive oil mill and estate located in the “Cañada del Judío” area, in the southern part of Jumilla. Set opposite the Santa Ana y Sierra Larga mountain ranges, in the heart of a fertile basin, this land has been traditionally cultivated with vineyards and olive groves for centuries and is now in its 5th generation. Today, this long-standing tradition continues through modern organic and biodynamic methods, under the philosophy of “Earth and Cosmos”.

Surrounded by lush groves and cultivated woodland, the estate is home to the mill facilities, housed in buildings that were once an 18th-century hay barn and former livestock enclosures. The site also preserves an ancient Arab cistern dating back to the 6th–7th centuries, a remarkable historical feature still standing today.

A total of 350 hectares are devoted to biodynamic cultivation, surrounding the olive oil mill. Within this estate, five olive varieties and two grape varieties are cultivated, coexisting in harmony with rewilded native species such as wild olive trees, as well as experimental almond groves, mulberry trees, native fruit nurseries, vegetable gardens, cereal crops, and dedicated facilities for the breeding of Murciano-Granadina goats.

A visit to the olive oil mill offers a guided tour through the entire production process behind “Casa Pareja” olive oil, along with an introduction to the advanced techniques used in biodynamic farming. The experience also includes a visit to the surrounding olive groves and estate. The tour may be complemented with a guided tasting of the full range of olive oils, as well as a selection of Casa Pareja products, including table olives and organic wine with the Jumilla Designation of Origin. All products are available for direct purchase at the on-site shop.

“Casa Pareja” also welcomes groups interested in ecology, eco-friendly consumer associations, master’s students, and workshops or gatherings focused on ecological topics.
