Description
Founded in 1955 and currently run by the second generation, this family-owned establishment is located in the heart of Jumilla’s Central Market.
This cuisine, rich and slow-cooked, offers a wide selection of traditional homemade stews, such as fabada, pig’s ear in Monastrell wine sauce, stewed chickpeas with ham and chorizo, and “manitas de ministro”, among many other dishes that no lover of hearty, spoon dishes should miss.
Our hallmarks are tradition and respect for quality ingredients, which allow us to successfully offer iconic local specialities such as “pelotas de relleno” served in turkey broth, fried suckling kid with garlic, and the renowned Jumilla gazpachos made with rabbit, chicken and quail, accompanied by mountain snails. This dish represented Jumilla’s gastronomy at the Sevilla Universal Exhibition in 1992 and was awarded the Gold Medal at the Alicante Gastronomic Festival.
All dishes are carefully paired with local wines and rounded off with homemade desserts, making a visit to Casa Sebastián an essential gastronomic experience during your stay in Jumilla.
