The festive calendar is full of celebrations throughout the year. The privileged climate, together with the appeal of the cultural festivals and events, offers the possibility of enjoying the Wine Route from a different perspective. Among the most outstanding festivals is the Holy Week of Jumilla, declared of International Tourist Interest, with more than 600 years of history and characterized by its artistic richness and color. No less important is the famous Tamborada de Tobarra, declared by UNESCO as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2018. Finally, we must mention the Fiesta de la Vendimia in Jumilla which culminates with the great Wine Parade in the month of August, as well as the patron saint festivities of the different localities that make up the Wine Route.
